After a very exciting year in Frankfurt, where I integrated the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA), it's time a new project that I'm lucky to be in!
Mobile Beats Ensemble is it's name, and it was created after IEMA 2015/16 ... after many hours of rehearsals and crazy experiences, we couldn't just finish such a great team of musicians and friends. So here we are!

People from Portugal, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Israel, The Netherlands, Italy, Argentina, U.S.A., Germany and Slovenia came to Frankfurt to study for one year! After that we started an Ensemble that hopefully will stay for many more

Feel free to take a look at hour website, and write us with your comments and suggestions! We are looking forward to hear from you....

(s)Low Motion concert in Basel CANCELED!!

3/3/2015

Dear Friends,

I'm sadly writting you to inform that our concert of (s)Low Motion duo in Basel, organized by Chaotic Moebius, was cancelled due a misunderstanding between who organized the concert and the concert room managment.
A few days ago we noticed that our concert was not announced in their website and that in the same day was happening something else.
Immediatly we asked about and, after a few days, we were informed that our concert was canceled due this misunderstanding.

We tried to find alterative dates, but on the proposed dates  it's completly impossible for us to redo everything and to spend again lot's of working hours.
We invested many work on this concert and it is a pity to see this happening...

So, we are very sorry to about this,
We hope this situation will not happen to any of our colleagues.
Please, respect!!!

Crossed Lines - 12. Puzzle by Martin Schlumpf

Dear Friends,

This week I present you the last piece presented in this concert. Puzzle by Martin Schlumpf is a very nice piece that I'm sure will give to everybody a very and eventually relaxed moment.
This piece was written for the Swiss clarinettist Matthias Müller who has been developing a sensor augmented bass clarinet; but this piece can be played either with the "normal" bass clarinet or with the sensor augmented bass clarinet (SABRe). if you never hear about this project you should take a look at Matthias Müller's homepage where we can find information about.
The electronics were developed and designed by the composer for a surround sound using Ambisonics. So, to have a Ambisonics surround you will need at least 4 loudspeakers, but the piece can also be played with a stereo system, with only 2 loudspeakers.
Extremely fun to play, as the tittle suggests, in Puzzle both Clarinet Bass and Electronics should be equally balanced and performed precisely together. So, the performer should use a click track.
I hope you can have as much fun as we had building up this project!
Stay tuned for the upcoming videos, and ...

Keep going .... really LOW!!!

Crossed Lines - 10. Contrechant by Heinz Holliger

2/13/2015

Dear Friends,

This weeks I bring you Contrechant by Heinz Holliger, one of the most emblematic contemporary composers from Switzerland.
Contrechant was originally composed for solo clarinet. Here I present you the edited version for solo bass clarinet.
One of the big challenges to play this piece is the different effects over the whole piece: different kinds of multi-phonics, singing, glissandi, flatter tongue, slap tongues, among other... creating a very special sonorities, but very challenging to achieve.
If you once have the chance, just take a look at the score and you will see!
I hope you can have as much fun as we had building up this project!
Stay tuned for the upcoming videos, and ...

Keep going .... really LOW!!!

Crossed Lines - 9. Intermezzo IV

2/7/2015

Dear Frieds,

This week I present you a new Intermezzo!
When we started to rehearse and to plan our intermezzos, one of the main ideas was to have a different plan / structure for each one, in order to connect the different pieces, but also create different environments and and sound landscapes. Either rhythmic or noisy, intense or relaxed ... with a lot of space to create and improvise, we knew "exactly" what was going to happen in each intermezzo, and how it should connect to the next piece.

I hope you can have as much fun as we had building up this project!
Stay tuned for the upcoming videos, and ...

Keep going .... really LOW!!!
